Salveranno solamente chi fa parte dell’elite di potere e coloro che potranno ancora creare o costruire: dottori, scienziati e così via”.
La lettera è datata febbraio 2008. E per due anni, intorno a quelle parole, si è detto e scritto di tutto. E deve essere stata proprio l’impressionante tam tam mediatico che ha convinto i fondatori del Progetto ad uscire allo scoperto e dichiarare che entro l’estate del 2010 la Svalbard Seed Bank verrà illustrata in tutte le sue potenzialità.
Per Bill Gates e soci non c’è più niente da nascondere. Si tratta solo di una enorme banca di semi. Ma le mura di cinta del bunker, i sistemi di sicurezza, e il carattere di assoluta segretezza del progetto non tranquillizzano di certo. E il Popolo della Rete ha deciso di stare con le antenne drizzate. Ci stanno nascondendo something? Gates and Rockefeller know more than what they say? Why this rush to complete the work by 2011?
